In his much-anticipated new book, Yotam Ottolenghi brings his inspiring, flavour-forward approach to comfort cooking, delivering new classics that taste of home. A bowl of pasta becomes Caramelised Onion Orecchiette with Hazelnuts & Crispy Sage, a warming soup is Cheesy Bread Soup with Savoy Cabbage & Cavolo Nero, and a plate of mash is transformed into Garlicky Aligot Potato with Leeks & Thyme. Comfort will be available from 5 September 2024.

Yotam will recount stories of his childhood, travels and home, and how he translated these formative experiences into evocative comfort recipes: each a celebration of the connections we make through cooking, and the cherished traditions passed from generation to generation. With the opportunity to ask Yotam your own questions, these unique live events bridge the gap between the author and the audience, promising to be a one-of-a-kind tour that goes beyond the pages of Comfort.

A dinner tribute to Ottolenghi
Prior to the show in Amsterdam, Restaurant First opens its doors in AFAS Live to complete the culinary experience and immerse dinner guests in the theme of 'The Comfort Tour'. Vineyard – the AFAS Live caterer – puts together a special menu of recognizable and familiar Ottolenghi ingredients, with a culinary twist.
About Yotam Ottolenghi
Yotam Ottolenghi is the restaurateur and chef-patron of the four London-based Ottolenghi delis, as well as the NOPI and ROVI restaurants. He is the author of eight bestselling and multi-award-winning cookery books. Yotam has been a weekly columnist for the Saturday Guardian for over thirteen years and is a regular contributor to the New York Times. His championing of vegetables, as well as ingredients once seen as 'exotic', has led to what some call 'The Ottolenghi effect'. This is shorthand for the creation of a meal which is full of colour, flavour, bounty and sunshine. Yotam lives in London with his family.
